Hi, are you able to switch to a tty using the keyboard shortcuts (e.g. Ctrl + Alt + F1)?
It happened again today. This time I had playing a video in Kodi and I had paused the video. After around 30 minutes when I decided to play the video, it wouldn't play and I discovered that the GUI had frozen. Cntrl + ALT + F1 didn't work. The keyboard just wasn't responding. So I logged in from another host using ssh and this is what I find in the journal logs Jul 14 21:03:11 MediaCenter kernel: nouveau 0000:01:00.0: fifo: read fault at 0003d00000 engine 1b [CE2] client 18 [GR_CE] reason 0c [UNSUPPORTED_KIND] on channel 8 [007f8a8000 plasmashell[2366]] Jul 14 21:03:11 MediaCenter kernel: nouveau 0000:01:00.0: fifo: channel 8: killed Jul 14 21:03:11 MediaCenter kernel: nouveau 0000:01:00.0: fifo: runlist 0: scheduled for recovery Jul 14 21:03:11 MediaCenter kernel: nouveau 0000:01:00.0: fifo: engine 0: scheduled for recovery Jul 14 21:03:11 MediaCenter kernel: nouveau 0000:01:00.0: fifo: engine 6: scheduled for recovery -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
