Using the KDE CD to boot from is ok, but it's a bit big - perhaps we could have a mini-iso image (usually less than 50Mb) included on the DVD?
Aren't there mini-isos at opensuse.org?
I haven't seen any (for the Alphas) for a while. Or maybe they are not being mirrored.
The alphas do not have a ftp tree, so having a mini iso is pointless.
Not if one is using a local FTP repository, e.g. the DVD loop-mounted on another machine. This is what I generally do (or would if FTP install weren't broken ATM).
OK, agreed. You can still use the one from factory if you're quick after the announcement ;) Greetings, Stephan -- SUSE LINUX Products GmbH, GF: Markus Rex, HRB 16746 (AG Nürnberg) --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org
