If that was openSUSE's only weakness I consider that a great win!
To be clear, I used the word "unique" because writing of unchanged files is an objectionable characteristic I have found exclusively on openSUSE. It is a problem exclusive to openSUSE, not openSUSE's sole problem. Certainly it has more than one, because it also has an also unique spelling case problem. :-p I consider openSUSE's Teutonic heritage and contribution weight YA asset keeping openSUSE above other distros in desirability. It's one of the reasons why I ever chose to try SuSE in the first place.
