for VLC the problem is 'almost' solved.. I have 4 more packages in the build queue before I can sync it out. Factory no longer provides libiso9660.so.5. It moved on to libiso9660.so.7.
I actually just see in this excerpt that you also use the 11.1 repository for the VLC repo. This is not recommended at all! Change the repo for VLC to http://download.videolan.org/pub/vlc/SuSE/11.2 I just verified and the problem is actually solved already a while back (the switch on libiso9660 was not as recent as I believed at first).
