I would like to have permanent access as I did in previous version of openSUSE since I am the only user.
Then mount them in /etc/fstab.
Or, you can get rid of the root password dialog e.g. by adding this line to /etc/polkit-default-privs.local: org.freedesktop.udisks2.filesystem-mount-system yes
Run "/sbin/set_polkit_default_privs" (as root) afterwards to "apply" the change.
This will only allow to mount them as user though, it will not mount them automatically (i.e. you do not have "permanent access"). It should allow you to use KDE's automount (on login) feature too though.
Note that it's this way since years, and not specific to Tumbleweed either.

Wolfgang, Thank you. That fixed the prompt for the root password. I have different versions of openSUSE installed on four drives including Yosemite. This happens with the following setup. 1st drive SSD Crucial MX300 550 GB has openSUSE 13.2 2nd drive data backup 1TB Western Digital 3rd drive Yosemite 4th drive Tumbleweed and Leap 42.2 RC3 I used to use two drives and I never had polkit give a pop up asking for the root password.
