Actually, and granted this isn't helpful for someone that has to maintain a lot of packages, but I did get hermes notifications due to that push. It's delayed a bit, because you only notice after Factory snapshots get updated, but you do notice it. That is, unless you don't receive or pay attention to hermes, which I hear is the case for the most active packagers, because hermes is painful for them.
