Oh come on! That "sponsor" does not exist as an entity. There is no contract whatsoever on the expected outcome - it's all interpretation of individuals. So if your decisions cost tons of more build jobs, longer wait times on openQA, more noise in general, ... - it needs to be part of your calculation. You can't excuse yourself with "SUSE wants this". SUSE at the current point of time wants to know how many real life benefits and risks switching to V2 brings - but that's tried in SUSE:ALP using the same OBS and the same openQA.
