I finally decided to not use rug anymore until it is usable (reporting bugs though, as I find them) and use smart for all tasks. It handled this downgrading issue perfectly while yum did not. :) Philipp Andreas Jaeger schrieb:

Bugreport - this means that downgrading of packages does not work correctly,
