When you have ethernet, but connect configuring a dsl ( for example with bridge, usb, etc ) you need those package So yeap they should be pre-installed. In fact the only thing that's wrong is installing a openSUSE on a ethernet connexion then move that box. without dvd source, or a way to install missing package for dsl
If the install is made with configuring the dsl connexion, the package are installed
I already noted that if a hardware is not found at install time, it's pretty hard to do afterward. But may be in this case one have to anticipate and don't use automatic config (not tried, just guess) jdd -- http://www.dodin.net http://www.youtube.com/user/jdddodinorg http://jdd.blip.tv/ -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org
