That's interesting. You've elided and taken my comment in exactly the opposite to the way i intended. Because it *IS* modular you can learn it incrementally. You don't need to learn it all at once. You not the the "grand tome" that descried it all in its fullness that you have to have and digest. The reality is that unix and now linux sysadmins have always been able to get along with around 15% or less of the total number of commands available in /{usr/,}{bin,sbin} And if you have a working YAST2 with a working set of the (again, you don't need to install them all or even use all the ones you do have installed) modules that the YAST interpreter makes use of, then you can probably get by as an admin.
