This message is there again when running vmware guest. Boot option clock=pit used to prevent this message in all 10.x versions (and I think earlier, not sure anymore).
With versions of 11 it's not helping anymore?
Also the time in guest is out of sync (a great lot) with host.
Do you have the guest additions installed? There is a part that syncs the time with the host.
I've got open-vm-tools. Where is guest additions? Or rather is that its full name? I have also tried to install vmware-kmp. Resizing does not work other than manually "fit guest now" Then I lose the panel. It gets back by choosing default theme. After that you can come back to "Aya" which actually is default. What are these two different packages about? Should they both be installed or just one? Which one? BTW I'm confused with things named default which they are not anymore. I'm running the Kernel-default. Which actually is not default other than the name. Kernel pae seems to be default. Should that be rather used? -- Vahis --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org
