Hi I have a Linux system which has RedHat on a HD and i then installed SUSE 7.2 on another. The install from CD went fine (took a while as I put almost everything on) and the reboot to logging on for the first time was OK, though I never logged on (via KDE) I just shutdown. I then booted from the redhat disk and copied the web files from hda (the redhat disk) to hdc (the suse disk). However now I try and boot from the suse disk I get a prompt LIL- (ie - no 'O') with a flashing cursor and no keyboard input works. I tried swapping IDE cables, using a floppy to boot and looking at the partitions with fdisk but as I'm a beginner don't really know what I'm looking for? I can mount hdc from redhat Linux and view the directories but I cannot get SUSE to boot.
