Just a quick thanks to Paul, Roger and Michael for all their hard work to get everyone together face to face ... a very worthwhile day I thought ...
Absolutely. Same hear.
Just out of interest, when the comments/results/etc are published, do you think it would be worth a quick post to Linux Weekly News and/or the Seul/Edu report ... ?
Or even a posting to ose.org.uk, I'm sure there are still people checking it or even following links to it for the first time. Anyway to get started: I will write something up for Linux Magazine on this, to appear at the end of April. They are a bit pressed for space, but should get something in. If we can definitely decide the main url for the site (ose, osie, whatever) and establish the neutrally hosted mailing list, this can all go in. As well, perhaps, as some concrete aims and specific requests for help. I've received some interest from NESTA about the meeting. I will leave becta, dfee at al. to others - any ideas on best approaches? - Richard Smedley (mail me with rsmedley@its-linux.co.uk, rather than the talk21.com address, it's more convenient. I'm resubscribing to the list from that address as well) -------------------- talk21 your FREE portable and private address on the net at http://www.talk21.com
