The article title should contain one, but also I would like to see very short introduction right under the title, prior to first paragraph with title, that is easy to copy in indexes of reviews that are listed on: http://en.opensuse.org/Reviews and all other similar openSUSE wiki browsing helpers like Portal pages.
1. Overview 1.1 History (if useful) 2. Reviewer type (parent, student, teacher, etc) (link to reviewer bio?)
I guess this is the answer on: Who am I? For readers reference to point of view, experience etc.
3. Features 3.1 Application area 3.2 Standards supported 3.3 Target population 3.4 Pre-requisite skills 3.5 Assessment functions (if useful) 3.6 Accessibility & Usability
4. Alternative applications and forks 5. Development 6. Security remarks
7. References/ Notes 8. External links 9. See also
It seems to be more in wiki style to list in this order: 7. See also 8. References/ Notes 9. External links (to similar content)
At some point, I think it would be good to include a way to categorize based on learning theory approach (constructivist, behaviorist, etc.) but that will have to wait.
Author can use Wiki built in categories, for instance: [[Category:Constructivism]] It is up to reviewer experience where to put program, later other wiki editors can reuse that categorization to create other forms of wiki browsing helpers, like indexes or Portal pages. The only thing that has to be set in advance to prevent many similar categories is list of categories for educational software. Your and Lars posts remind me that there is more than one type of review, with slight differences in list of relevant subtopics. The education should be put on something like: http://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Software_Overview_-_Education Page doesn't exist, as I didn't want to go over your wish to develop idea here first, but wiki is invented for collaborative effort, so go ahead. -- Regards, Rajko. http://en.opensuse.org/Portal -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-edu+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-edu+help@opensuse.org
