I mean isn't it just better to use the full docbook dtd and xsl's, perhaps with a customization layer from the onset?
personnaly I think that the less tags the better and the first thing to do should be to show what tag gives what in SuSE manuals. This can be easily done giving an example with all (or most) of the tags and a pdf/jpg file with the printed result. Then this example could be used as a template. for LfL as I see it, 3/4 title levels, lists with and without numbers and tables should be enough. If I understand well most article wont be more than one page large (cookbook size). it could even be done with a web form. I think there is a online sgml/docbook tool on the Linux Documentation Project site http://tldp.org/ the tldp system can also be seen as an example (just a bit too static in my opinion) - see also here http://tldp.org/LDP/LDP-Author-Guide/html/process.html jdd -- http://www.dodin.net http://dodin.org/galerie_photo_web/expo/index.html http://lucien.dodin.net http://fr.susewiki.org/index.php?title=Gérer_ses_photos --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-doc+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-doc+help@opensuse.org
