Hello Mates,
a few weeks ago, i tried to submit libatlas3. But anyone said, that i must fix the $RPM_OPT_FLAGS. So i tried first: # export CFLAGS="-g -w %{optflags}" # export CXXFLAGS="-g -w %{optflags}" # ../configure $BFLAG -Fa alg -fPIC --with-netlib- lapack=%{_libdir}/liblapack-pic.a --cflags="$CFLAGS
But that doesn't work. My next Step was to patch the configure. But that doesn't work too. I think this is a selfmade configure.
Has anyone other ideas to fix it? Or can we close one eye?
As I wrote you in previous mail it is not possible to close eyes, because flags is taken from build machine and it allows SSE3 for i586, which is not good idea (It doesn't work on older PCs). Why patching configure doesn't work? configure must somehow get that optimalized flags.
