Hi, don't know if this is known and/or intended. When you specify an URI the download de source from, it only works with http. If you specify a ftp server it dies with a time out.
What do you mean with "specify an URI the download de source from"?
I don't understand the sentence and I'm presumably missing some context that you did not provide.

Sorry, when you create a package and add to it specs and source files, you have the option to either upload them from your PC or provide a URI to download it from internet. If you provide a http link it works, but if you provide an ftp URI it dies with a timeout, probably a firewall issue.
You mean, with using the "Source" tag in a specfile? And Source: ftp://example.com/tarball.tar.gz does not work, while Source: http://example.com/tarball.tar.gz does? The latter (!) would be a bug. Although it _would_ be very convenient, the build clients are supposed to be set up in a way which prohibits any network access. Or has this been changed? Adrian, could you have a look please?
