What is the required syntax to use binary packages from the same prj in a Dockerfile? Last time I created an image I used something like this (with expanded variables) to make the packages known at build time: RUN zypper ar -cf "http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/${prj}/${repository}" "reponame" This can not work if one branches a pkg from another prj because the binaries from the own prj are not published. And even if they are published, the URL must be adjusted prior submit request. Olaf

Hello List, I wanted to build a few Docker images using Dockerfile instead of KIWI on my private Build Service instance. But no matter what I try, I'm unable to proceed. Looks like I'm missing some setup on my workers. I just can't figure out by myself as to what is missing! Please help! I'll share what I've tried and found so far... I'm running: # rpm -q obs-{api,server} build obs-api-2.9.3-49.1.noarch obs-server-2.9.3-49.1.noarch build-20200107-329.1.noarch I started with a very minimalist Dockerfile: $ cat Dockerfile #!UseOBSRepositories zypper in coreutils iputils Not sure whether that was the problem! :-) But the build failed with: [ 53s] find: 'containers': No such file or directory [ 53s] base image not found This "find" command comes from this line of build-recipe-docker: https://github.com/openSUSE/obs-build/blob/20200107/build-recipe-docker#L62 This "containers" directory is supposed to be created by bs_worker. But bs_worker will only create this directory when 'containerannotation' is set. From what I understand, this containerannotation is set by BSSched::BuildJob::getcontainerannotation: https://github.com/openSUSE/open-build-service/blob/2.9/src/backend/BSSched… This is where I'm lost. I am building a Dockerfile in an empty project. Next, I added one more line: #!UseOBSRepositories FROM scratch zypper in coreutils iputils This was because the "find containers" command is run only when base image is not set to "scratch". [opensuse-buildservice] download repos rollback?

Hi, was there some massive rollback to a backup from january on download.opensuse.org? In the actual download repos i see a lot of old content dated january 05, even of packages that have been rebuilt as recently as last night, but some repos show current content - maybe they have been rebuilt already? update repos seem unaffected, a lot under /repositories is. Hello all, I just updated a private OBS from 2.9. to 2.10 (on openSUSE Leap 15.1) according to https://github.com/openSUSE/open-build-service/blob/2.10/dist/README.UPDATE…. With 2.9 everything was working just fine. With 2.10 signing stopped working. The installation seems okay otherwise (e.g. no errors upon DB migration etc.) signd (IIUC) could not find the secret key anymore: box:~ # su -s /bin/bash obsrun -c 'sign -k' gpg: skipped "mybuildkey@myobs": No secret key gpg: signing failed: No secret key I could work around the problem by copying /root/.gnupg to /srv/obs/gnupg box:/srv/obs/gnupg # cp -ai ~/.gnupg/* . But I don't want to maintain/keep the key in 2 locations. Is it safe to simply symlink /srv/obs/gnupg to /root/.gnupg? Or can some (RPM) update delete my private signing key? Or should I set OBS_SIGND_GNUPG_HOME="/root/.gnupg" in /etc/sysconfig/signd?
