[opensuse-buildservice] Ubuntu Next and Fedora Rawhide builds failing: missing libpcre2

[opensuse-buildservice] Disabling tests for DEB building

So I have one Ubuntu python package (python-tornado) failing to build at Ubuntu 18.04 https://paste.opensuse.org/view/raw/57849209 It seems this problem is related to https://github.com/tornadoweb/tornado/ issues/2536, and despite it's mentioned that 18.04 has 1.1.0, it seems that now it has 1.1.1 and thefore the problem happens. At the same time, we don't want to patch that package on our side in any way, as it comes directly from universe, and we just build it to redistribute it so SUSE Manager clients don't require universe. AFAIK, tests can be disabled by having an environment variable when calling dpkg-buildpackage. DEB_BUILD_OPTIONS=nocheck dpkg-buildpackage But I am unable to understand how to do that at OBS. [opensuse-buildservice] Initial work on porting OBS 2.10 to Fedora...

Hey all, I managed to get some time this weekend to begin working on bringing OBS 2.10 to Fedora. I've proposed my first round of changes as a PR against: https://github.com/openSUSE/open-build-service/pull/7872 This set of changes are the least invasive, making OBS flexible enough to handle alternative file paths, among other things. The changes work fine on openSUSE, but OBS on Fedora still doesn't work because I need to figure out what to do with OBS' usage of bundler and fixing the ruby shebangs so that they're not versioned on Fedora (Fedora doesn't do multi-ruby the same way that openSUSE does). These might just be things I'll have to fix within the Fedora spec for OBS, since the OBS team doesn't use system packaged rubygems anymore... But it'd be great if my changes could be reviewed and merged (and even backported to the 2.10 branch!)... Hi, According to https://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Build_Service_Tips_and_Tricks, the long term fix for "have choice for golang(API) >= 1.11: go1.11 go1.12" in server:monitoring Should that be set to prefer go1.12 for the sles15sp1 repo ? [opensuse-buildservice] issue with local build of image template

fyi, I am trying to do a local "osc build images" on my branch (after checkout on to a Leap15.1 system) of: https://build.opensuse.org/package/show/SUSE:Templates:Images:SLE-12-SP3/SL… but it errors with "buildinfo is broken... it says: unresolvable: nothing provides tmux" (that package seems to be in backports and somehow is found on OBS remote builds without an explicit repo callout in the config.kiwi). Yet, I see no specific callout of tmux as a package in the config.kiwi (honestly haven't checked to see if this is a dependency of the referenced packages), nor is tmux called out anywhere in the successful remote OBS builds/logs ... strange.
