[opensuse-buildservice] downgrading GCC ?

Greetings all, I am facing a problem regarding an OBS package and current version of gcc in openSUSE 12.1. There is a software project called OTB that is built upon ITK. Current version of ITK (4.0) supports gcc 4.6 but OTB is still based on ITK 3.0, and will not upgrade for another year or so. The problem: ITK 3.0 is not compatible with gcc4.6 when creating python wrappings. So while I try to build OTB-python in OBS I get errors. ITK will not backport fixes to 3.0, I 've tried that... My only solution left is to use GCC4.5 in openSUSE12.1. Can this happen in OBS? Any ideas? [opensuse-buildservice] build dependency graphs?

Hi! Is there an easy way to visualize the build dependencies inside an OBS project? Something like debtree ( http://collab-maint.alioth.debian.org/debtree/ ) Shouldn't be too difficult to produce a dot file for graphviz from osc buildinfo output, but if it already exists I'd better not reinvent the wheel. Hi, according to `osc help service`: `osc service remoterun PRJ PKG` should be equal to `osc service rr PRJ PKG` but it's not. [opensuse-buildservice] openSUSE:11.4:Update repository

Hello, I build against openSUSE:11.4:Update repository. My packages were just fine, but before a few days they got rebuilt and now in the build log, I see that the build process picks dependencies from openSUSE:11.4, instead of from openSUSE:11.4:Update. I tried to trigger rebuild manually, but the same happens - the dependencies are picked from openSUSE:11.4, instead of from openSUSE:11.4:Update. Is this some expected (temporal?) behavior or something is going wrong? Please, help. [opensuse-buildservice] Error from signer when creating a new project

Hi, 12.1 with the OBS build from yesterday evening + the obs-signd package (removed SUID stuff because of the badness 10000, readded the SUID after installing). I followed http://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Build_Service_Signer#Instructions to install the signer service. Seems building and signing is working, but if I try to create a new project I get the error bellow. I did not get this error before the signer was installed. [opensuse-buildservice] openSUSE:Tools dropped 11.3 repo already?

I noticed that openSUSE:Tools has dropped its 11.3 repo already. I understand 11.3 is EOL'd, but it seems like Tools repo should be special, as it contains zypper -- the tool that lets you upgrade. I understand that EOL means no longer "community supported" - that's fine.. but it seems to me that "community supported" is a completely different concept than "exists as a repo in a project". After all, openSUSE:Tools has RHEL 4 and all these other non-SUSE repos... are those distributions "community supported" by the openSUSE project?? So I don't understand the rush to remove the repo. Needless to say, I still have stable 11.3 systems around that I'm not ready to upgrade just yet... Thanks, -Archie -- Archie L. I branched a package and made a bug fix. I requested a merge back. Told system to keep my branch project. Added comment field to request. My request was accepted. Then realized minor bug in my fix. Too late to withdraw request since already accepted. So I corrected the problem in branch project and made 2nd request! But the system did not give me an opertunity to add a comment to 2nd request!
