Hi everybody, On my freshly installed (using FTP) SuSE Linux 10.1 box, I wanted to build opencity (to come to the BS soon, as soon as I got it all running). After finding all mandatory deps and deps that are not mentioned, I got it finally to compile. And then came across and error in SDL_net.h: on line 416, there is an additional ':' just after the closing bracket '}' which the compiler (g++ 4.1.0, as installed with SL10.1) does not like at all. This avoids me from compiling it. Removing this semicolon solved that issue (for local build). I'm wondering if I'll have the same problem in the BuildService or if there is a 'fixed' SDL_net inside? As of today, at least on 'my' update mirror, there is no more recent version of SDL_net available. Can you investigate on this? I added the game to the BS (home:dimstar for the moment) bus as resources are that low for the moment, I don't know when we'll find a result and honestly, I don't expect something else than on my 10.1 box; that's what anyhow everybody would expect, no? [opensuse-buildservice] List of Projects / packages I'm maintainer

Hi BS Admins and Community, I was just brwosing a bit on the BS and I think it would be handy to also get a list of Projects, one is a maintainer. This would reduce the need for everybody to put these projects on the Watch-List (what probably anyhow everybody does, or not?) What do you think about? Dominique

What would you say -- editors or editors:hex? IMO, 'Editors' would do it. But the description of the package should clearly contain an info that it is a Hex-Editor. Hello, in which project could I put 'spim', a MIPS simulator? Maybe Emulators:MIPS (I know, Emulator != Simulator, but creating a top-level project for this would be overkill, IMO). Any suggestions here? Thanks. Bernhard -- A feature is nothing more than a bug with seniority.

[opensuse-buildservice] Queueing system 'Waiting for Build'

Hi BS-Admins and BS-Developers, I was wondering if there is already a smart Q-System integrated in BS (to me appears it's not, or it's not working). Let's assume (using the webinterface): I modify a SPEC File, then click save. -> This triggers automatically a Rebuild of the Package The package get's in the Q to be built. For some weird reasons, I remember that I wanted to make another modification in the SPEC File, so I open it again for modification, apply everything and click Save. -> This triggers automatically a Rebuild (again) I think in this case we could all agree, that it's a waste to leep the first trigger active, especially if the build is still waiting and has not been started yet. Anything to improve this? Dominique
