Are you on 12.1? As for the packaging, we usually rely on either the OBS (Open Build Service) or its command line client 'osc', which can set up a chroot on your local machine for building the package (in the same way the OBS does). Sorry for the mislabelling. I have not opened a bug for the patch, as I understood that the openssh folks were going to incorporate that soon. It was a fix to ssh-keysign.c The patch file listed: *** ssh-keysign.c.orig 2010-09-09 18:12:09.000000000 -0700 --- ssh-keysign.c 2011-02-13 15:15:01.000000000 -0800 However, I've lost the web page describing the issue and when to expect it in openssh. I've checked out site-config and have built it for x86_64, but I can't seem to check it in.
