Li Bin, you may file a new bug report regarding whatever IPP server you actually use (you did not tell) because this IPP server does not support the required and standard IPP/1.0 operation "Validate-Job". If you do not use a real IPP server (e.g. a Novell iPrint server) but a network printer via IPP, have a look at http://www.cups.org/documentation.php/doc-1.5/network.html ---------------------------------------------------------------------- The AppSocket protocol (sometimes also called the JetDirect protocol, owing to its origins with the HP JetDirect network interfaces) is the simplest, fastest, and generally the most reliable network protocol used for printers. ..
