https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=245789 ------- Comment #1 from mfabian@novell.com 2007-02-15 08:40 MST ------- When one tries to log into an KDE session where the Xserver uses the “vnc” module and the KDE screen saver is running is locked, the screen saver immediatly restarts after one successfully unlocks the screen. By continuing to type frantically one can keep the screen saver from restarting. But as soon as one stops typing for only a few fractions of a second, the screen saver starts again. This problem goes away when DPMS is disabled: “xset -dpms”. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.

https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=245789 ------- Comment #3 from sndirsch@novell.com 2007-05-05 03:26 MST ------- This might be a regression of the vnc sources I used for openSUSE 10.2. I hope to switch back to xf4vnc for openSUSE 10.3. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.

From my openSUSE 10.2 machine at home I tried to connect to "magellan" in the office which runs STABLE. The viewer was started with the following command:
vncviewer -geometry 1680x1050 -passwd ~/.vnc/passwd -encodings "copyrect tight hextile zlib corre rre raw" -compresslevel 3 -quality 0 -nocursorshape -bgr233 -x11cursor -via magellan.suse.de :0 -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
