[Bug 413391] New: Gnome Power Manager: Fn +/ - Brightness changes with 3 steps at a time
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=413391 Summary: Gnome Power Manager: Fn +/- Brightness changes with 3 steps at a time Product: openSUSE 11.0 Version: Final Platform: Other OS/Version: openSUSE 11.0 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: GNOME AssignedTo: bnc-team-gnome@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: contact@i-nz.net QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- When I use the Fn brightness control keys the brightness gets changed with 3 steps at a time instead of just 1. For example with 7 brightness levels: [~]$ powersave -L Available brightness levels: 8. 1) Full brightness [~]$ powersave -K Current brightness level: 7. 2) Fn + Down (Lower Brightness) [~]$ powersave -K (Lower Brightness) Current brightness level: 4. It should be 6 here, not 4 3) Fn + Down (Lower Brightness) [~]$ powersave -K Current brightness level: 1. Again lowered by 3 steps instead of a single one 4) Fn + Up (Higher Brightness) [~]$ powersave -K Current brightness level: 4. Increasing brightness also happens with 3 steps at a time. With openSUSE 10.3 the brightness was increasing properly with 1 step at a time, so this is a regression.
