I have feeling that these packages have bene build on another system? I have a feeling that packages aren't checked when they are installed from the DVD that the system is installing from? If this is true, it's quite dangerous as infected DVD's can be distributed over the internet. So I don't understand your infected DVD theories. The packages can come from a different DVD than the one you are installing from. That is how addon products work. But those are signed too. I could not find anything in the logs that explain the signature errors. Did you confirm the checksum of the iso file? This worked without a problem. My feeling is that the alpha and beta iso aren't created exactly the same way as the final release. Issue solved for final release.
