There is some working patches upstream for this.. we need to get these applied to our mesa and xserver-xorg-video-intel. From the lists on this post http://lists.freedesktop.org/archives/xorg/2008-April/034746.html they clearly had to patch something else as well.. I would love to test this out if you have a working patch already, otherwise i was going to create some patches right now in the OBS.
