Are you referring to the yast2 shell (i.e. "/sbin/yast2") or yast2 specific tools (e.g. "/sbin/yast2 network").

The absence of "libgnomesu" affects both the shell and the individual tools. However, the individual tools can be made to run manually via the links provided within Gnome Shell (they drop into the command line for the su password, but this is accepted when entered). But we don't want to add the requirement to that package.
