It seems to be a serious problem ... Please: - remove /var/cache/zypp/zypp.db (and zypp.db.journal if it exists) - run 'zypper refresh' to rebuild the database As the zypp.db is a simple metadata cache, you won't loose any data by deleting and rebuilding it. The "http://download.opensuse.org/update/10.3/" repo is ok, so we don't know what caused the coruption.
