--- Comment #11 from Freek de Kruijf 2008-10-31 09:28:17 MDT ---
I did deinstall xvid, which after that, completely disappeared. Then I got the
same kind of message now about openssh-askpass. I did uninstall it but then I
got the same kind of message about openssh, which I could not uninstall because
then I had to uninstall even more packages.
Starting YaST Software Manager again en going to update all packages when a
newer version is available did not show me the kernel update.
Then I search for the kernel and with right klicking I put it in update mode,
however the source did not neither the kernel symbols. So I made these to
update also and off it went.
After a reboot all went well except for my madwifi driver with the HAL for 64
bits. But a "make clean", "make and "make install" solved that as well.
Now it turned out that openssh-askpass was still installed.
I checked wether there are still ignored package dependancies, but none exists.
So with still a bit of uneasy feeling I continue and consider this to be
closed.
