Thanks magnus - that fixed it.
Turns out the problem was the (duplicate?) Mouse[3] and Mouse[5] entries in
xorg.conf - removing one of them:
InputDevice "Mouse[1]" "CorePointer"
InputDevice "Mouse[3]" "SendCoreEvents"
# InputDevice "Mouse[5]" "SendCoreEvents"
Screen "Screen[0]"
Lets me use both my touch-pad, and 'nipple' simultaneously without problems:
neat.
The real question is - why do I have 2 entries for the same mouse anyway ?
The xorg.conf was generated on this T60p with a plain 'sax2 -r', having
installed the new radeonhd drivers.
