I guess the easiest way for you is to disable "Sound Server" in KDE
controlcenter / Sound setup menu. Then it won't start pulseaudio but the
system will you directly ALSA backend. Give it a try.
Note that phonon is a KDE sound backend, which communicates with different
sound subsystems.
Also, you may uninstall libflashsupport although it should work even installed.
But, you can uninstall it to be sure.
Reconfiguring the sound driver means to kill *ALL* sound applications. Of
course, kmix will be killed by that. Thus, this action doesn't guarantee that
the desktop will continue to work as before. In general, after reconfiguring
the sound, you should re-login, and you don't often do it unless you really
know what you are doing...
