Forget about the kdetv problem, it's a problem in the kdetv build I'm (not)
using (anymore).
I found a new, repeatable issue with the patched driver (not sure yet if it
happens with the unpatched one - I'll test and report in the next reboot) about
image corruption when two gspca devices of the same model (I haven't the hw to
test if it happens with gspca devices of different models) are accessed at the
same time. The first image seems fine, the second presents artifacts as seen in
a corrupted jpeg image. The gravity of the damage is relative to its
complexity, so simple frames may even not be corrupted at all.
Valid to note that the specific model of my twin gspca devices (Creative NX
Pro, PD 1130, usb 041e:401e, bridge Zc0301P, sensor Hv7131b) outputs jpeg
images, and the gspca1 driver converts those to RGB24 or YUV in kernelspace.
