https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=380156 Summary: nfsserver status report services running when they are stopped Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Final Platform: Other OS/Version: openSUSE 10.3 Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: Network AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: darinper@cognigencorp.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- The nfsserver init script from the nfs-kernel-server package always returns a status of 'running' for idmapd when /usr/sbin/rpc.idmapd is not running. If you set NFS4_SUPPORT="no" in /etc/sysconfig/nfs when it skips idmapd and says that 'mountd' is running when it is not. This behavior renders HA-NFS services with heartbeat impossible because heartheat always check the status to ensure the services are not running before trying to start nfsserver. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
