I respectfully request that you (Novell) reconsider the removal of /built-in/
NX support. While I personally am really looking forward to using nomad,
consider that many corporate environments have moved to datacenter-housed (or
"cloud-computing") -style resource management, which means that you will often
have VMWare or Virtualbox-based Linux and Windows machines accessed via NX or
occasionally RDP (and very rarely VNC over SSH). Since NX is probably the
most-deployed solution in UNIX-only or mixed environments removing it from the
distro could cause more than a little confusion. I find the OBS a wonderful
tool and easy enough to use /but/ many people won't even get that far.
If this is a done-deal then so be it, however before gold master shipped I
wanted to say my piece.
Note: the qtnx package (aka 'freenx-client') is missing a dependancy on NX, and
will not work without it. Thus, if NX is removed then so should qtnx.
