One important point for solving the problem was the question whether there is dsl on my system or not. It finally turned out that there is and that I had used this term erroneously due to my ignorance and also due to the wrong usage of this term in yast2. There in Netzwerkgeräte one can enter under the title dsl the provider information. But this should as a very knowledgable guy told me only be done if authenticication is required. If there is a router then there must be no information at all there.
