During the install process I changed the default bootloader setting from the
default position (2: write to partition) to write bootloader to MBR. With this
setting the system booted after installation. Very good!
It also recognizes the other linux' on the other partitions (the ones that
booted before openSUSE), and the options in the other grub.conf's. The latter
is something I did not see the other distribution do, and that is why I like
openSUSE (nice details).
However the openingscreen is now still ascii instead of a nice graphical
screen. Directly after leaving the openingscreen behind the system starts to
boot linux and shows the messages on/in a graphical screen.
That the openingscreen is not graphical but ASCII, should that be part of this
bug report or should that be reported in new bug report?
This bugreport should take care, that if a GPT disk is part of the system the
bootloader should (must) be written to the MBR and not to disk!
