ok, I gave it a try. I downloaded ati-driver-installer-10-2-x86.x86_64.run from
ati and installed it. I have a /etc/X11/xorg.conf now with Driver "fglrx".
modprobe -c | grep fglrx also shows a result now.
But s2ram -f still leaves the screen black after resume (in /bin/bash and x11).
I guess Matthias is right and it's a bios problem.
I'll simply keep using "s2ram -f -a 3".
If the whitelist isn't maintained anymore this should be mentioned in
http://de.opensuse.org/S2ram.
For me it's no problem, because I've already modified pm-utils config
(S2RAM_OPTS="-f -a 3"). I only thought a whitelist entry could help other users
who have the same hardware, but since the system id seems to be buggy (see my
first posting) I doubt that a usefull whitelist entry could be made anyway.
Thank you for your quick support.
