I select which one I want, but when I go to test it in the little test box, it's still a US layout. I don't think this is a general yast2-firstboot as images built with Studio work fine. Then again maybe they work because of running yast2-live-installer. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Select English (UK) keyboard layout 2. Try and enter "@ and other charachters in the Test box 3.
