--- Comment #38 from Matthias Pfafferodt 2011-01-27 09:11:07 UTC ---
No such errors with 2.6.34 till now. It seems to be an improvement as I now did
look into the log messages - they indicate a crash (as written in comment #37:
similar effects as in missing parts of the screen, slow, no change of the mouse
coursor, ...) but the screen was useable. So either the kernel or xorg are on
the way to fix this ;-)
xorg rpm packages:
xorg-x11-7.6-146.1.i586
xorg-x11-driver-input-7.6-98.1.i586
xorg-x11-driver-input-debuginfo-7.6-98.1.i586
xorg-x11-driver-input-debugsource-7.6-98.1.i586
xorg-x11-server-7.6_1.9.3-111.6.i586
xorg-x11-server-debuginfo-7.6_1.9.3-111.6.i586
xorg-x11-server-debugsource-7.6_1.9.3-111.6.i586
I will attach the Xorg.log as well as the system messages. The timestamps
indicate a relation between the NMI messages and the xorg error.
