Now I'm really confused. You say that vif config
vif=[ 'mac=00:16:3e:1b:c4:a9,bridge=pan0,model=rtl8139', ]
does not work (error no bridge pan0) yet 'brctl show' displays a bridge named
pan0.
Regardless, your network config is hosed. If you simply have 1 dhcp configured
interface in host (it appears to be the case - eth0) I would do the following
1. run 'yast2 lan'
* delete all exising interfaces
* Add a new interface of device type 'bridge'
* Configure the bridge dhcp or static and select a
Bridged Device from the list
* Finish the configuration, networking will be restarted
with new settings
2. Verify you have a bridge with 'physical device' connected, e.g.
xen67:~# brctl show
bridge name bridge id STP enabled interfaces
br0 8000.003048347d8a no eth0
3. Ensure all vms have vif configuration with correct bridge name. Bridge name
can be omitted as well, e.g.
vif=[ 'mac=00:16:3e:1b:c4:a9,model=rtl8139', ]
leaving underlying scripts to choose. In the case of Xen, it chooses first
active bridge.
Can you try the above?
