Problem description:
During the installation of sles11-beta1, if you change the file system of a
partition to something other than the default file system format, then when you
edit this partition, your change will not be reflected in this interface.
Step to reproduce:
1. In the installation setting step, choose Partitioning to enter disk
partition
interface.
2. Select a partition and edit it. Choose a file system other than the default
one. Then finish editing.
3. Edit it again. Now the interface does not correctly reflected the file
system
you choose.
Actually, the file system format in step 3 is affected by default file system.
When default file system is ext3, file system shown in step 3 will be ext3.
When
default file system is ext2 and Reiser, fs shown in step 3 will be ext2.

This problem is still reproducible in Beta2.

Hi Novell,
maybe this issue has the same root reason that your bug #434280.
As workaround, we were able to finish the installation after create the
partitions outside the
installer using fdisk and then just pointing the partitions on the installer
without edit it the
partition table.
Thanks in advance.
