https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=760432 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=760432#c0 Summary: Operations on IMAP+ folders in Evolution often fail and can cause loss of messages Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 12.1 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 12.1 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Evolution AssignedTo: bnc-team-evolution@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: dhwprof@gmail.com QAContact: lakhil@novell.com Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:12.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/12.0 Dragging IMAP+ folders to other locations in the side bar, on the same or different servers, generally causes the loss of the folder that is being moved. You get an error message, and then the folder is gone. Creating an IMAP+ folder works, but the new folder doesn't appear in the side bar until Evolution is restarted. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Create a couple of test folders. 2. Drag one into the other. 3. If it works, try dragging it somewhere else, perhaps the root of the server. Actual Results: Loss of the folder being moved. Expected Results: The folder should be preserved, with all of its messages, in the location it's been dragged to. I have this happen both with a Dovecot server (OpenSUSE) and GMail's IMAP server. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
