I tried to use the current driver (fglrx_7_1_0_SUSE103-8.455.2-1) that got
released a couple of weeks back. I do get the native resolution now
(1400x1050). I don't use compiz anymore. Still, the resume stalls most of the
time with the same problem. System will be continuously swapping when it
resumes from suspend. This problem is not there with the old driver
(fglrx_7_1_0_SUSE102-8.40.4-1.).
I do see the following stack while suspending. I'm not sure if these are
related.
