I see no reason why it fail. The osc build
--alternative-project=openSUSE:Factory standard x86_64 work without a problem.
And a triggered error does not makes a sense
[ 61s]
/home/abuild/rpmbuild/BUILD/xerces-2_8_1/src/org/apache/xml/serialize/DOMSerializerImpl.java:263:
error: DOMException
[ 61s] throw new DOMException(DOMException.TYPE_MISMATCH_ERR, msg);
The DOMException.TYPE_MISMATCH_ERR is a part of java5 and as far I can tell,
the /usr/share/java/libgcj-4.7.jar:org/w3c/dom/DOMException.class have it
defined.
Therefor it's an issue in gcc-java, or something will be fixed once someone
will trigger a new build in openSUSE:Factory.
@coolo: can you issue a rebuild of the package in Factory to see if it helps?
