But this does not happen in KDE with the button opening kcalc. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: I have a Microsoft Natural Ergonomic Keyboard 4000 v1.0 1. In KDE press keyboard shortcut for Calculator When trying to map the shortcut in KDE there is no success either 1. Open "Custom Shortcuts" 2. Create a New Shortcut (Edit>New>Global Shortcut>Command URL) 3. Name the shortcut 4. Press the keyboard Calculator button for Trigger (Launch (1) is assigned 5. Add "kcalc" under Action (or /usr/bin/kcalc) 6. Save or Apply Setting 7. Press Calculator keyboard button Actual Results: nothing happens Expected Results: for kcalc to launch. I have found this is a popular and upstream bug from KDE, but I have not seen any resolvent either.
