In /etc/fstab, there is a mount point for the directory /home, which is used as a default home directory for new usrs, but this directory is not currently mounted. If you add new users using the default values, their home directories will be created in the current/home. This can result in these directories not being accessible after mount correctly. Continue user configuration? YES / No Image of error message here: http://www.imagebam.com/image/97129273727801 I did a <ctrl><alt> <F2> at this point and confirmed that /home was assigned to a separate partition in the new fstab and also via the "mount" command confirmed that /home was not mounted. I then did <ctl><alt><F7> to get back to the installation. I selected "YES" and the installation continued normally. This was puzzling. No adverse affect observed other than the worrisome error message. The /home is NOT an encrypted partition. Reproducible: Didn't try Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3. Actual Results: I did one installation and it occurred. No observable negative impact other than a highly worrisome message. Expected Results: Expect no error message. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
