I believe that the dazuko 2.3.5 version just puts dazuko into the kernel so
that it can be compiled in statically. (See
http://dazuko.dnsalias.org/files/README-dazuko-patch). The approach in
openSUSE 11.0 is to keep dazuko as an external loadable module, by configuring
it to use redirfs instead of the LSM interface.
I do now have a fix so that the openSUSE 11.0 dazuko(+redirfs) will load.
(There was a problem in the redirfs module which was preventing it from loading
and thus dazuko couldn't load either.) Since I am new to openSUSE development,
I'm not sure the best way to provide the fix. Should I post the new source rpm
here? I'll also ask on the openSUSE devel list how to get the fix into an
official patch.
As noted in comment #7, even w/ a fix to get dazuko to load, more testing
needs to be done on this dazuko+redirfs approach. Certainly, using dazuko
2.3.5 by rebuilding it into your kernel might be a more stable approach.
