Another PCI bridge changes location: from (80:0a:0) to (00:0a:0).
I assume the pci address in the config file is taken from hwinfo by SaX2 and
thus coincides with the knowledge of the kernel about pci layout.
I'd be curious if this problem is reproducible ie. if the installation system
always gives a different output than an installed system.
Holgi, could you please (cold!) boot the installation system and the installed
system a couple of times, run lspci -n each time and compare the results?
If we see consistent results (ie installation system always one setting and
installed system always the other setting) this points most likely to the
kernel.
The secondary bus number (first bus behind bridge) and the range (subordinate
buses) are configurable by configuration software, ie. the kernel would
theoretically be able to reassign buses behind the bridge. I don't know if it
does this though, it would have to do it only when a card with a bridge on
board got hot plugged.
