The page simply isn't designed well. The descriptions of the help selections
are virtually invisible, with too little contrast, and much too small text,
besides the already noted huge spaces between words caused by 'text-align:
justify' in the CSS. It is certainly not designed to be usable by high
resolution users who've chosen high resolution to gain quality rather than more
open windows on the desktop at a time.
On a default install it actually is better than it might be. The font it
specifies is generic sans, which via /etc/fonts/conf.avail/40-generic.conf is
the largest sans font installed by default on most Linux distros, Bitstream
Vera Sans aka DejaVu Sans, a size equivalent to Verdana, and much larger in
apparent size than the most common serif fonts, Times*. If the somewhat smaller
Liberation Sans was installed, and earlier than BVS/DVS in the alias list (as
it should be), then the page would be worse, regardless of resolution.
